Kinblethmont Barracks no 4 is a brand new conversion of an old detached estate cottage with open views of arable farmland. It is perfect for dog lovers or as a romantic rural getaway for couples. We welcome 1 large/medium or 2 small dogs in the cottage.
We are really pleased with this recent conversion with its cool contemporary styling , cosiness and practical details. The main features are its clever open plan layout, well equipped modern kitchen, and contemporary artworks. It is a perfect home from home for your rural escape.
To make the most of Scotlands natural ability to produce electricity from renewable sources we have designed the house to be run on electricity only. There is underfloor heating throughout and an electric fireplace that can be used with or without heat for a bit of extra cosiness.
Please take note that the cottage is across the field from the farm and during harvest and grain drying season (August, September & October) you will hear sounds from the grain drying equipment when you are outside.

There are lots of walks on Kinblethmont estate- from the woodland walks to the walled garden to the viewpoint at the top of Kinblethmont hill. To protect wildlife and livestock dogs must be kept on a lead on the estate. Lunan Bay 10 minutes away by car is a great place for dogs to run about freely.
